In his play Macbeth, the monsters ar the three witches. contradictory most monsters, the witches be non killers; however they are distillery the most dangerous characters in the play because of their power and wickedness. The un targetny Sisters or Three witches are the initiatory characters that appear in Macbeth, and their words in the fountain act, Fair is foul, and foul is pleasure ground; Hover through the sully and filthy air.(1.1.1-13)set the supernatural manner for the whole story and their malevolent intentions. \nWhether or non they are the cause of King Macbeths downfall and homicidal p ropensities is controversial, barely it is certain they used their sorcery to impact him. There is a huge debate on what the main even upation of the witches are mainly because their existence in the play can be depicted several ways by readers. The witches play a major role in the play; they represent the heathenish values of the Elizabethan age, they represent fate, and they represent the hidden darkness, weaknesses, and corruptive in humans.\nThe witches represent fate. In the 19th Century, weird did not have the meaning it has today. It meant circumstances or requirement (Dave Wilton, February 17, 2007). Fate and foreknowledge is clearly the sisters role. In the play, the sisters soften Macbeth three prophecies. The prophecies show that they are not unsloped onerous to manipulate Macbeth, but they can also see into his future. The first prophecy is about Macbeth decorous king. However, the sisters are able to forestall that Macbeth will be killed by someone not nat ural of woman.
